Extraterritorial Anti-corruption Legislation Workshop
This will be an intensive training workshop that will be conducted by highly experienced facilitators on international laws and anti-corruption compliance in order to conduct corporate activity and ethical business and commercial transactions, fund development, contract management including cross-border sales and tax advice when dealing with foreign investors worldwide.
The Extraterritorial Anti-Corruption legislation workshop will cover topics on how the extraterritorial reach of the UK Bribery Act and US Foreign Corrupt Practice Act will impact all businesses in Africa: Putting “Adequate Procedures” and a “failure to prevent bribery…” into Regional Context.

Given UNCAC’s requirements, most Anti-Corruption Authorities (ACAs) have created different types of anti-corruption forums to exchange information, experiences and solutions related to the fight against corruption. In accordance with this requirement, the following forums were established:
- Creation of regional anti-corruption networks, such as the East African Association of Anti-corruption Authorities (EAAACA), and European Partners against Corruption (EPAC) etc…
- Creation of international anti-corruption academies, such as the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA), a joint initiative by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the Republic of Austria, the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) and other stakeholders.
